The WWA is the international governing body of the sport of wakeboarding created by riders for riders. The WWA is a "Wakeboard only" organization run by wakeboarders exclusively for the sport of wakeboarding. Its purpose is to help introduce people to the sport of competitive wakeboarding, provide consistent and fair standards for competition by sanctioning events, and help educate the public on ways to have more fun generally improve individual skills in wakeboarding.
